Utopia Filmes was created in 2004.
In less than a year we made the biggest hit of Portuguese Cinema (“The Crime of Father Amaro”), which changed the way we view and think the movies made in our language. With two years, after several commercials, videoclips and TV shows, we made the most polemic movie of the Portuguese Cinema (“Corruption”), which became the top movie of 2007.
With four years old, we made the movie with the biggest production value ever seen in our country (“Second Life”), which after a few weeks of release surpassed 90 000 paid admissions.
Proud? Yes!
Grateful? Of course, to the public, always.
